Put the places motorcyclists really look for on the map

Biker meeting point, workshop, stop-off, biker hotel, rental, fuel station: suggest motorcycle-relevant places. After an editorial review they appear as a pin on the NBNL map — where tours are planned and ridden.

Free of charge and with no minimum term. To submit you need a business account, so that every suggestion stays linked to a verified sender — reading and comparing the map works without logging in, as always.

01
What counts

These are the places you can suggest

The categories follow the NBNL taxonomy — each suggestion gets exactly one of them and thereby its icon on the map.

Meeting points, tours & sport

Biker meeting point, tour operator, race track — the places where riders arrange to meet or take their laps.

Service & workshop

Authorised service partner, independent workshop and rider safety training.

Food & accommodation

Café, restaurant and stop-off, hotel, biker hotel and campsite.

Retail & products

Motorcycle dealers, clothing and accessories, plus motorcycle rental.

Fuel & charging

Fuel stations and charging stations — especially away from the main routes a frequent reason for a detour.

Natural and traffic points such as passes, summits, tunnels or speed cameras cannot be suggested: they come from our own data sources so that they are named and maintained consistently across the whole map.

02
The form

What you enter

Name, category, description and a position are required. Everything else makes the listing more useful but is optional.

Position

Type in the address and have the address search resolve it into coordinates — or enter latitude and longitude directly if the place has no house number.

Description

What this place offers motorcyclists. This text later appears in the map window and decides whether someone makes the detour.

Contact

Phone, email and website — so that interested riders can call or write directly from the map.

Opening hours

As free text, for example “Mon–Fri 9 am–6 pm” or “Season March–October”.

03
Afterwards

Where the place appears

Route planner

In the POI layer of the route planner — visible while a tour is being created, and filterable by category.

Navigator

On the road in the Navigator, along the route you ride.

With status in your account

Every suggestion appears in your account under “My suggestions” — with the status “In review”, “Approved” or “Rejected”.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to submit a place?

Nothing. The business account and submitting places are free of charge — permanently.

Does the place have to belong to me?

No. You may suggest any place that is relevant to motorcyclists — your own business as well as the biker meeting point around the corner. For details about other businesses: only publish what is public anyway.

How long does the review take?

Every suggestion is looked at by hand. We deliberately do not promise a fixed processing time — you can see the status at any time under “My suggestions” in your account.

What happens after approval?

The place moves into the POI layer of the NBNL map and appears there in the route planner and navigator — with category icon, description and the contact details you provided.

Which places can’t be submitted?

Natural and traffic points — passes, summits, tunnels, speed cameras. We maintain these from our own data sources so that the map stays consistent there.
