Soundcheck — frequently asked questions

What is NBNL Soundcheck?
Soundcheck is a free listening game by No Bike No Life (NBNL): you hear a real engine sound from the NBNL motorcycle catalogue and pick the right bike out of four. The sounds are manufacturer recordings, and new ones are added all the time.
How are points awarded?
Recognise the motorcycle after 3 seconds and you get 3 points. If you listen for 10 seconds it's 2 points, with the vehicle class hint 1 point. A wrong answer scores no points.
What is the daily challenge?
The daily challenge consists of 5 sounds that are the same for everyone and change every day at midnight (German time). That way you can compare your result directly with friends and the NBNL community.
What is the sound of the day in the stream?
Every morning a sound of the day appears in the NBNL community stream. Members place a guess without seeing the answer. It is revealed the next day — together with the share of members who got it right.
Does Soundcheck cost anything?
No. The daily challenge and free play are free and need no sign-up. To guess the sound of the day and to share in the stream, you need a free NBNL account.
